(A) The thoughts and feelings I have mentioned are indeed ( 1 c ) to all men as men. They are also found in some men more than in others, regardless of ( 2 n ) differences. (D) But as an Englishman, I have to say, from ( 1 b ) experience, that Japanese is far more ( 2 ). Even after thirty years in this country, I am still very ( 3 i ) in it. I may be a little better in it than Japanese high-school students are in ( 4 ) ; but I have the ( 5 a ) of being in Japan, whereas few of them have been to ( 6 ).

(E) Not that everyone departing or arriving is a ( 1 t ). Among the crowds there are also ( 2 b ) and diplomats, going abroad for a serious ( 3 p ). But in the summer season they are only a small ( 4 m ). More numerous are the nokyo farmers.

(F) No survey of Japanese culture, however selective, can ( 1 o ) mention of the Japanese cuisine. After long experience of life in Japan, I have come to the ( 2 c ) that Japanese culture is centered, if not on the ( 3 s ), at least on the ( 4 m ). Perhaps I ought rather to say the ( 5 e ).

Then I hope I may revise the ( 4 ) of this book in a forthcoming edition from "jangles" to "jingles" - as in the words of the well-known ( 5 ) carol, "Jingle Bells".
